Florida is one of the top vacation spots in the world. And if you visit here you will soon figure out why. It is so sunny and gorgeous out the year round that it is known as the Sunshine State. But the great weather is only one of the drawing points. The state is literally dotted with some of the best vacation spots in the world. Here are ten of what we consider the best of them.
- Disney World
Is anyone surprised that we consider this the best of Florida’s best? Probably not. There is a great likelihood that Disney World is one of the first things that comes to your mind at the mention of Florida. Sadly, some who want to do so, don’t visit while in Florida because they deem in financially impossible because tickets are so expensive. However, there are a lot of different types of tickets to choose from and many different hotel rooms for any range of budget. This means that visiting Disney World is affordable for any budget.
Since Disney World takes up a lot of Orlando, you might think we are being redundant and saying pretty much the same thing. However, there is a whole lot more top-class vacation sites in Orlando than just Disney World. There are hundreds of great hotels and restaurants, Universal Orlando, Seaworld Orlando, many resorts, golf courses, and dinner theaters. And that’s just getting started. Orlando is literally covered with fun things to do.
- St. Augustine
St. Augustine lays claim to being one of the oldest inhabited cities on the entire continent. That is why it is no surprise that the city is oozing with historic charm. But the history—as rich as it is—is only one of the drawing points. It is also rife with its own unique attractions, fantastic shopping areas, and some of the best beach areas in the world.
- The Keys
One of the most beautiful natural wonders in the world is the Florida Key’s. This is a string of islands that are connected only by the Overseas Highway.
